Hello, I'm Dawn Wojcik from San Jose, California.

This is a website for women interested in the open adoption of their baby.

Thank you for taking the time to visit. If you are considering open adoption, I'd like to hear from you.

Do you want to
learn more about open adoption?

I would like very much to become a mother, and I chose open adoption because I want to have an ongoing relationship with my child's birth mother.

Here you can read more about open adoption, find resources to help you make a decision, and of course read more about me.

I promise your child will always know how much you love him or her and that your decision was a completely selfless act and from your heart.

Loving Nurse With a Big Family Seeks Baby for Open Adoption

Who am I? I grew up in San Jose as the youngest in a family of six. Most of my family still lives here; I have two siblings who live in Oregon. We visit often. My San Jose home is spacious with a large backyard for children to play. I enjoy San Jose, its children's museums, parks and cultural diversity and safe neighborhoods. I look forward to taking my child to the parks, zoos, beaches, redwood parks, and Giants baseball, all close by.  On Halloween the neighborhood has a party and parade to celebrate! Planting a garden together is the thing I anticipate most.
I enjoy swimming, biking, camping and especially growing fresh vegetables in my backyard garden. My friends say I have a tremendous sense of humor and I love to laugh. Kids seem to latch onto my silliness. My nieces and nephews always love the time I spend with them and the adventures we have. They are eagerly anticipating their new cousin.

Family means unconditional love and support.  My large family gets together for holidays and vacations throughout the year. At Easter, our family tradition is to make a bunny cake and hunt for Easter eggs. At Christmas my brother Greg dresses up as Santa. On Labor Day we often spend time at my brother Rusty's summer home in Oroville, California.  My family and friends cannot wait to share this blessed event with me.

Why I Would Like to Be a Mother

I have always wanted to be a mother. I grew up in a stable home that taught me how important acceptance and love is for children. I feel now is the time for me to extend that to a child. I have maturity, patience, energy, stability, time, work flexibility and life experience.

I will be a single parent, but welcome a good father should that happen. I want to teach my child love, respect, kindness, tolerance and laughter. I have a great family and wonderful friends who are very supportive of the choice I am making and are willing and able to help out as much as needed.

I hope this website helps you get to know me a bit better. I look forward to an open relationship with you to the degree to which you are comfortable and best benefits your child.

I would enjoy talking to you and answering any questions you might have.
